About Jocelyn
Bio
Jocelyn Pride is a native of Sacramento, CA and a versatile performer who is equally at home in operatic, theatre and concert venues. Jocelyn was recently seen with Afro House in Baltimore; performing a variety of pieces by composer Scott Patterson. She also performs seasonally with Washington National Opera’s Chorus and as a soloist with the Coalition for African Americans in the Performing Arts (CAAPA). Recently, she made her debut as the lead actress in a play, Passing at the DC Capitol Fringe Festival. Jocelyn enjoys routinely performing jazz and pop repertoire with renown pianist Dale Allen Jarrett. She is Board Certified with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy from Shenandoah University. When not on stage, Jocelyn has the honor of utilizing her knowledge and skills working as an Activities and Volunteer Coordinator to create meaningful and purposeful programs for seniors.
